Three Days Out

It’s been a very tough few weeks.

Preparing for my art show has meant 8–15 hour workdays, every day, 7 days a week. Today I’ll sign all the paintings and transport them to the exhibition venue. Tomorrow, we’ll hang them in a specially organized event space.

It’ll be magical.

I’ve invited around 100 people from all walks of life—from the fashion world, Tattoofest visitors, and my friends from Taiwan, to underground graffiti artists, photographers, gym bros, and personalities from Kraków’s art scene.

I’m guessing somewhere between 100–120 people will walk through the doors on opening night.

I’ve prepared 44 paintings.

Since mid-March, I’ve worked long days and even longer nights. I went through different stages during the process. At one point, I even repainted a few canvases because, as the preparations went on, I felt some of the artworks were no longer relevant.

During the preparations, a few friends visited my studio—here are some photos taken by the great @chodze.ulicami :https://www.instagram.com/chodze.ulicami?igsh=MTg2dHByMTNldmdjbw==

Here are a few shot by my bestie Mateusz:

And the last few were taken by my right-hand man and personal assistant without whom I can't get this thing organized Peel https://www.instagram.com/peeltattoo?igsh=MXc5ZzJ5YzhnYnZuMg==

The exhibition opening is on Friday, June 12th, at 7 PM, in the extraordinary Hedwig’s.

I’ll report back soon with the aftermath and a review.

Much love & stay awesome.

Here's last few snaps from my camera roll from last few weeks @ the studio:
