I DID IT !!

My first solo art show since 2021, Sleepwalkers & Saints, turned out to be a huge success. The venue was Hedwig’s Bar at Stradom House https://stradomhouse.com/en/cocktail-bar-krakow-hedwigs/— the most beautiful hotel in Kraków. Around 250 people walked through the doors on opening night. The exhibition featured 44 paintings: 35 textured acrylic works and 9 spray paint paintings on canvas. Satisfaction level? Extremely high.
I love my life.
I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to exhibit my work in such a unique and beautiful space. Huge thanks to Rafał Stanowski and Gaba for making it happen. Hedwig’s occupies a fully renovated 14th-century chapel, and I can assure you — it’s one of the most beautiful exhibition spaces in Kraków. A must-see.
The event took place on June 12th, 2026. I wanted the exhibition to be short and intense, so we decided the entire show would last only 24 hours, with the first three hours serving as the opening night. I worked hard during the final weeks leading up to the event, mostly repainting and making last-minute changes to several pieces.
Rafał Stanowski was the exhibition curator, and right up until the final hours before opening, we were adjusting and arranging paintings so they would work with the exhibition’s narrative — my transition from the streets into high-end gallery work. The first section featured old favorites presented in a new way: Cubist panthers, abstract panthers, and panther morphs.
In the middle section, I presented newer, more abstract paintings of dissolving panthers — forms slowly disappearing and becoming almost pure abstraction.
The final section showcased ten completely new works. A different Davee. Darker. More elegant. More refined.
These paintings represented a transition. They challenged viewers with a type of work they had never seen from me before. With these pieces, I wasn’t trying to create understanding — I was trying to create emotion. With my latest paintings, I’m inviting you to have your own journey. Your own feelings. Your own emotional experience. There are no outlines. No characters. There are brushstrokes, unique colour combinations, textures, and pure abstract forms. This is the direction my painting is heading. I want you to feel it with your heart rather than your brain. I want my art to fire you up from the inside. I want it to make you feel.
The intention behind the arrangement worked. Throughout the night, I watched over 200 people experience something as they moved through the exhibition and stopped in front of the paintings. Most people — probably around 80% — came for the panthers. The creations I’ve been known for for almost two decades. The remaining 20% came without knowing my work at all. Interestingly, those people connected more deeply with the newer paintings. Without any expectations, they naturally gravitated toward the abstract works. They felt something. And as an artist, that made me feel fulfilled.
The show was over the following night. While collecting the paintings and helping clean the venue, I made a promise to myself: from now on, I will create an exhibition like this every year. Previously, I had a major art show every five years. Now it will be annual. I already have connections, ideas, and plans involving Hong Kong, London, Sydney, Tokyo, and Warsaw. I’ll keep you updated about future exhibitions right here on the blog.
Some of the artworks from Sleepwalkers & Saints are still available to purchase. Visit the SHOP section of my website if you’d like to own a piece and support your guy.
I love my life. I love you.
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog post. It means the world to me. Now go and have a look at the paintings in the other sections of my website. Enjoy them, share them with friends, and stay tuned for what’s next.
Special thanks to my Musé & life partner Coco, Hedwig’s & Stradom House, the Kult Tattoo team, the Too Hard To Find family, the Taiwan boys, Peel, Tasiemko, Coach Szafrański , Malczyk, Kuba, and everyone else who helped make this happen. Without you, it wouldn’t have been the same.
And thank you to every visitor who came. I hope the emotions of this event stay with you for a long time... until the next time fam! <3
