"Sleepwalkers & Saints" — 3 weeks out

It's been a hectic few weeks as I'm preparing my first Solo art-show since 2021! It is a very productive/exciting/nerve-wrecking time for me.

The event will be held in Hedwig's — as stated on the space's website: "A unique bar and club located in a former baroque chapel, dating back to the 14th century. Modern art and design reflect the Stradom House concept, merging history with contemporary style." I’ll be taking over the "Salon" and conference room. Total floor area of the space is over 400sqm—big challenge and big shoes to fill—but who else if not me can handle it?! :)

I have been preparing those paintings since March — a total of 41+ paintings will be presented. Those paintings will be a journey through different personalities I have as an artist—from a street-smart kid obsessed with graffiti, to a fine artist who leans towards visual minimalism and absolute color abstraction inspired by the wildest dreams. Artwork that reflects the few personalities I have got to live with. It's a very personal journey — showing my past, present, and attempting to demonstrate where I would like to further go as an artist. I know and I feel that I will be creating art until the day I die, and today, as a 40+ year old — I'm finally exploring new personalities living inside of me. "I can't drown my demons, they know how to swim" — but I’ve learned to live and hang out with them. "Sleepwalkers & Saints" will be a one-off event created with passion and a huge desire to express my inner-self.
