2026 — time for a new chapter, a new blog. Here we go.

The year started strong — with a visit to my beloved Lombok. The journey actually began back in December in Japan — Karuizawa, Tokyo and Okayama — then we extended it with Lombok and returned to Bali in the first days of January.

Two weeks later I flew to Sydney for a guest spot with friends — to create a lot of work. Stopover in Singapore on the way. In early February I moved on to Guangzhou, China — a few days of meetings and painting walls. From there, a flight to Shanghai, where I spent the next 15 days working on a new series of paintings.

Somewhere in between, I turned 41 — duh. Training daily, eating clean. Painting day and night. It’s a good time.

From Shanghai I flew briefly to Vienna, and since March I’ve been in Kraków, starting another series of acrylics on canvas. I’ll be here until the end of April, then a short return to Bali, and back again to Kraków — to paint.

The year started pretty intense — in terms of airports, it looked like this:

LOP → DPS → LOP → DPS → SIN → SYD → CAN → PVG → VIE → KRK

And at the same time… I’m slowing down. There’s space to create.

For context — in 2025 I visited 27 countries and took 79 flights, so it was a very different pace. A lot was happening. Now it’s different.

Every day I’m grateful I get to live like this — freely creating, moving between art & travel — and having people around the world who connect with it.

This is my first ever blog post — I want to turn this into a weekly practice.

Attached are early glimpses of the new works in progress this year.

Stay tuned.
